DUXTON MAXWELL × SINGAPORE

A multifunctional rooftop terrace where you can sunbathe and swim, recharge your batteries during a yoga class, or enjoy a drink and snack at the bar: this is Sempre’s creation for the luxurious Duxton hotel in Singapore.

The terrace has an atypical shape with bays, making it possible to assign different functions to the space provided. This requires an inventive design and custom solutions designed, produced, and installed by Sempre. Relaxation is the main goal, and through some interventions, the terrace is transformed from a yoga space to a sun lounge with sunbeds to an exclusive night bar with bar tables appearing out of the floor.

It was a fantastic experience to work on this project and get to know a new culture and their way of working. We were faced with some challenges due to strict regulations, but that didn’t stop us from delivering a great end result. The architect who coordinated this project became a close friend and made many business trips a pleasure.
